This 2-seat reconnaissance biplane , built by the Aerowerke Gustav

Otto, had rather striking tail booms made of lightweight wood. Despite his

unusual construction it was a good airplane. It was fast and manoeuvrable and had an exceptional flight range. It remained active at the front until the end of 1916.
